  • Initial Design Meeting or Measure: One of our designers will set up a showroom meeting or measure with you to discuss all aspects of your project. Based on the meeting our designer will take all the information provided to create a design and estimate for your project. We do one complimentary design and price. After this meeting & when all the details are picked, it may take our designers 2 weeks to work on the quote. We have lots of colour samples, door samples, and hardware in our showroom to help you visualize. Some helpful things to bring to the meeting are:
    • Pictures of your existing space (if a renovation).
    • Over all measurements of your current space (if a renovation). Don’t worry we just use these to quote, we take our own measurements to make the cabinets.
    • Sink size & appliance makes/models.
    • Pinterest, Instagram, magazine, or photo inspiration of what you are wanting. Don’t worry, if you don’t have these our designer will help you determine an aesthetic that works for you.
    • If it is a new build, floor plans and construction drawings are required.
  • Second Design Meeting: our designer will review the design and the estimate for the project with you in person (or over phone/email if you prefer). At this point if you would like to move forward with the project and make changes to the design, we require a 50% percent non-refundable deposit that will be applied to your project’s final cabinetry invoice. Once the deposit is paid, we can make changes and work on the design to make it perfect for you.
  • Deposit: the job is confirmed via deposit and sign off on the estimate.
  • Schedule:
    • We schedule the site measure.
    • We schedule the project and the final installation date. **PLEASE NOTE: YOU WILL NOT BE GIVEN A TENTATIVE INSTALLATION DATE UNTIL ALL DETAILS ARE FINALIZED WITH YOUR DESIGNER**
  • Final Design
    • Together we finalize the design: finishes, door profile, pulls and hardware, interior accessories (like garbage pullouts and drawer inserts), and the layout. We do this via phone, email, and in person meetings.
    • We send the final drawing and design selections for your sign off, so you know exactly what you are getting.
    • We request appliance and plumbing specs (where applicable).
    • We request adjacent finishes (i.e.. Fireplace stone, flooring thicknesses, casing/baseboard dimensions etc.), they help us make the cabinets fit your space best.
    • Any changes from the original quote are sent to you via change orders.
    • If there are any custom stains or colours, this is when we do a sample for your review & require them to be signed off when we find the right one for your project. If requested by the client, an additional charge of $100 per stain sample after the original may be charged.
  • Onsite Measure: we conduct the site measure so we can build your cabinetry down to the millimeter. We schedule this once the space is at the correct stage of demolition (for renovation) or once the space is framed (for new builds). Pricing is subject to change based on the onsite measure depending on how the walls and floors are.
  • Trade & Shop Drawings: once we have completed the site measure, we provide you or your trades with shop drawings for plumbing, electrical, and mechanical details.
  • CAD Production: we build and finish all our cabinetry in house, at this stage we are creating the cabinetry parts for production.
  • Production: our skilled production team begin to build and create your project in shop. This production stage can take anywhere from 4 weeks to 12 weeks depending on the size & materials of the job. **PLEASE NOTE: YOUR PROJECT WILL NOT BE PUT INTO PRODUCTION UNTIL ALL DETAILS ARE FINALIZED WITH YOUR DESIGNER**
  • First Installation: we delivery your cabinetry to site and our skilled installers begins the first stage of install. The second payment of 40% is due PRIOR to the first day of the installation. Majority (if not all) of the materials for the project will be delivered to the jobsite & installation of is typically all the cabinetry boxes, so flooring can be installed, countertops can be templated. In some cases, more uppers might be able to be installed at that time. Some things to note about installs:
    • We require space to deliver the cabinets and tools, as well as room to work. This may mean moving furniture in your house.
    • Dust will be made so if there is anything that needs to be protected in you space, please do so.
  • Final Walk Through: once the install is complete, we walk through the space with you to look for deficiencies and give the space a good once over. Any deficiencies will be noted by us and dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
  • Final Payment & Warranty: the final payment of 10% (hold back) is due once the project is complete. Warranty does not come into effect until the final payment is made. We will email you a Care and Cleaning guide to get the most out of your new cabinetry. We will also include our limited warranty package.
  • Enjoy: The final part of the project is when you move in and enjoy your custom cabinetry!
